Power Equipment Sourcing for Large Energy Users

New large power transformers and generation equipment can take a long time to build and deliver, and that wait can hold up an energization date, a data center phase or a backup power plan. We connect end users with owners who hold title to in-stock and surplus equipment, and we keep the chain short: one introduction, direct to the party who owns the asset.

    What we source

    • Gas-fired turbines
    • Diesel and natural gas generator sets for prime, standby and bridge power
    • Large power and substation transformers (MVA class, high voltage)
    • Pad-mount and distribution transformers
    • Switchboards and switchgear
    • Other power equipment, on request

    Who this is for

    • Data center developers and operators who need power before the utility can deliver it
    • Utilities, cooperatives and municipal systems short on spare transformers
    • Industrial and manufacturing sites adding load or backup capacity
    • EPCs and developers who need to hold a schedule
    • Owners of surplus or idle equipment who want to reach a qualified end user directly

    How we work

    • Direct only. We introduce end users to the owner who holds title, or to a representative holding a written mandate from that owner. No broker chains, no layered markups.
    • Specification first. We match on the electrical and site requirements (rating, voltage, frequency, fuel, quantity, location and timeline) before anything else changes hands.
    • Confidential. Introductions are made under a non-disclosure and non-circumvention agreement, and buyer identities stay private until both sides agree to proceed.
    • Energy context included. Because our core work is energy cost optimization, we can also look at how new generation changes a site's utility costs, tariffs and incentives.

Tell us what you need or what you have

Every inquiry is read personally. We respond to qualified requests from end users and title holders.

    Frequently asked questions

    Do you hold inventory?

No. We do not hold title to equipment. We introduce qualified end users to the owners who do, or to representatives holding a written mandate from those owners.

    Do you work with brokers?

Our preference is to work directly with end users and title holders, because every added layer adds cost and slows the deal. If you represent an owner or a buyer, tell us about your written mandate in the form.

    What information speeds things up?

The full electrical specification, quantity, location, delivery timeline and, for sellers, proof of ownership or a written owner mandate. For large transformers, nameplate data and factory test reports help most.

Do you handle used and surplus equipment?

Yes. Much of what is available quickly is surplus, idle or lightly used equipment. Condition, hours, storage history and test documentation are reviewed with the buyer before any commitment.

How does this relate to Energy Arbitrage AI's core work?

Our core business is energy cost optimization for commercial and industrial users. Equipment sourcing grew out of the same relationships: sites that need power fast also need to understand what that power will cost to run.
